Georgetown Atelier Student Show 2011
Mark your calendars!
Saturday, June 11th, 6-9pm, at the Georgetown Atelier
We’re pleased to announce our second Annual Student Show and Celebration.
The 1st year students will be showcasing their drawing achievements working from the figure and cast projects. This group of students have survived year one of ‘boot camp’, and have come out on top. Their achievements on display will be mix of graphite, charcoal, and black and white ‘chalk’, drawings.
The 2nd year students will be mainly showcasing their achievements in Monochromatic Painting, Warm/Cool Painting, and Limited Palette Painting. The 2nd year curriculum is particularly rigorous as it covers all three of these educational territories, and takes tremendous resolve and stamina to navigate through.
We’ll also be showcasing the achievements of our part-time students, who have been mirroring the 2nd year curriculum. Don’t be fooled by the label ‘part-time’, as these students have been regular hard workers at the Georgetown Atelier putting in a full day every week for 2 years now!
We’ll have the customary refreshments, food, and blast-of-a-party that is characteristic at the Georgetown Atelier. We hope to see you there!
